- Control of Addictive Drugs
- Control of Poisons
- Pathological and forensic science Medicine
- Port Health and Quarantine
- Registration of Births and Deaths
- Registration of Nurses and Midwives
- Registration of Medical and Dental Practitioners
and Druggists
- Reciprocal health arrangements with other
countries And representation of Sierra Leone
in the World Health Organisation (WHO) and
other international health fora
- Mobilization of resources and coordination
of external Assistance to the health sector
- Collaboration with government Ministries
and National And International Organisations/Institutions.
