President Kabbah Visits British War Ship

President Alhaji Ahmad Tejan Kabbah was Guest of honour on-board the British Royal Frigate, HMS Iron Duke,on Tuesbay,September 28,which berthed at the Queen Elizabeth II Quay,Cline Town,Freetown.

On arrival at the ship, President Kabbah was received by the Commanding Officer, Captain Peter Garden,who took the President on a conducted tour of the ship culminating in a private meeting in the control room where discussions were held.

The Captain said that HMS Iron Duke was in Freetown as part of its time to time routine visits to all areas of interest and also as a sign of assurance of the United Kingdom's continued interest in its former states.
